My whole career I have come up against CEO’s deciding that once money gets a little tight, the first thing to do is cut the marketing budget. This. Is. Crazy! Henry Ford once said ‘A man who stops advertising to save money is like a man who stops a clock to save time’.
I get it, I really do. I understand that people see marketing as a luxury. Something they do if they find themselves with a bit of extra cash at the end of the month, or an unexpected cheque from the tax man shows up on your desk. I can hear it now, “Right, run a Facebook campaign, and get our likes up”. This is not a good use of your extra money, and it won’t achieve what you want it to achieve, and then you will think it was a waste of your money (which it was), and then you won’t do any marketing again for a while. But it doesn’t have to be like that, I promise!
That is where I can come in! As a virtual Marketing Assistant, I can come and speak to you about what you want to achieve, and how we are going to achieve it. But the best thing about it? You only pay me for the time I spend actually working for you! Not the time I spend hanging out at the water cooler, or the time I spend having a chat to my colleague. You don’t pay me if I am ill, on holiday or at a doctor’s appointment, just the time I spend actually working for YOU!. I still like to think of myself as part of the team, but as a virtual marketing assistant, I am exactly that… virtual.
You can, pick me up, and put me back again… so to speak! If you are looking to implement a specific campaign, I can work on that for you. Or if you are looking for management of your social media or website on an on-going basis, I can also do that. It’s really up to you.
Virtually All There was born from the idea of helping small and medium sized businesses achieve their goals through marketing within their budgets. No need to employ someone full time, instead hire a Virtual Marketeer as and when it is needed. This, after all, is the joy of the Virtual Marketeer.
